Center for Health Sciences Education at Genesis
This 40,000 square foot building constructed in 2010 houses the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant, and Nursing departments and includes state-of-the-art classrooms; teaching space that simulates home health, hospital, and outpatient clinic environments; a computer lab; library; and a student commons.
2014 Addition
The 13,000-square-foot addition cost $3.5 million and includes a clinical skills lab and exam suite that simulates a medical office practice setting and emergency and trauma care.
The space also features a 78-seat lecture hall equipped with enhanced technology for distance education delivery; space to support more interprofessional and post-graduate continuing education; additional classroom, study, and meeting areas; and offices for the Physician Assistant program and faculty, as well as the College of Health and Human Services dean.
Interprofessional Health Clinic
This clinic, which opened in 2015, provides student-led and free healthcare services to underserved populations. Click here to learn more
